Word Bearers Legion
The Word Bearers are the most zealous of the Traitor Legions, utterly devoted to the Chaos Gods. They were the first Legion to fully embrace Chaos during the Great Crusade, and their Primarch Lorgar Aurelian authored the Book of Lorgar, the foundational text of the Imperial Creed that would later be corrupted into worship of the Dark Gods.
After their humiliation at Monarchia, the Word Bearers turned from worship of the Emperor to the Primordial Truth of Chaos. They now seek to convert humanity to their faith through sermons, rituals, and overwhelming force when necessary.
