Forge your identity in the XVI Legion
The Sons of Horus were the XVI Legion of Space Marines, once known as the Luna Wolves before being renamed in honor of their Primarch Horus Lupercal. They were the Emperor’s most favored legion, masters of decapitation strikes and shock assaults.
The XVI Legion – Sons of Horus
Originally founded as the Luna Wolves, the legion earned legendary status during the Great Crusade under the command of Horus Lupercal. They specialized in precision strikes against enemy leadership, shattering command structures and breaking armies through targeted assaults.
After Horus was named Warmaster, the legion was renamed in his honor. They formed the core of the Traitor forces during the Horus Heresy, their fall from grace marking one of the most tragic events in Imperial history. The legion would later become the Black Legion under Abaddon the Despoiler.
